Despite all she's been through, Petra is a kind and gentle young woman. when she was in the hunger games, she had scored the lowest score and pretended to be weakest of the bunch before they went to the top five, when they decided to kill her off, Petra had gotten her hands on throwing knives and quickly ended the remaining five. She had shown high knowledge in the medical arts since her mother was a doctor and with the people in her district she is very kind and caring to the point of being almost motherly. She shows high intelligence and often uses this as much as she can to let the tributes in her care to live as long as they can. She's quick to fight with other mentors, which gave her the nicknames which usually refer to her 'fiery temper' which is ironic because she doesn't actually have such a temper once you really get to know her. It's mostly because Auruo usually bothers her.
